Privacy Policy

AstroArcade ("we", "our", "the site") is designed to be fun with minimal data collection. This policy explains what information is (and isn't) collected when you visit, and the choices you have.

What we do NOT collect

Cookies and your consent

On your first visit you will see a cookie banner. Until you choose, all optional cookies stay off (we implement Google's Consent Mode v2 with a default "denied" state). You can change your mind at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser, which makes the banner appear again.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics via Google Tag Manager (container ID GTM-P4P258BB) to understand aggregate traffic โ€” for example, how many people played a game. These analytics cookies are only allowed after you accept them in the cookie banner. If you choose "Essential only", analytics remain disabled and your visit is not measured by Google Analytics. We also keep the data anonymous wherever possible and never try to identify individual visitors.

Advertising

We may display third-party advertising (such as Google AdSense) to keep the site free.

Your rights (GDPR / CCPA and similar laws)

Depending on where you live, you may have rights over your personal data, including the right to access, correct or delete it, to object to or restrict processing, and (for California residents) to know what personal information is collected and to opt out of its "sale" or "sharing" โ€” we do not sell personal information. Since this site collects almost no personal data and stores game progress only on your own device, the easiest way to exercise most rights is to clear this site's cookies and local storage in your browser. For anything else, contact us via the contact page.

International visitors

This site is hosted on Cloudflare's global network. If you visit from the EEA, UK or elsewhere, please be aware your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own, protected by the safeguards described in this policy.

Children's privacy

The site is family-friendly and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or under 16 in the EEA). Since we do not offer accounts and collect personal data only through consent-based analytics/advertising cookies, there is nothing for us to store about any child. Parents can reset or clear all site data from the child's browser at any time.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new "last updated" date.
